What data we collect
Browsing the site without an account, we collect no personal data. If you sign up for the forum we store: your email, your password (encrypted, unreadable by us), the name you choose to display and the messages you post.
Why and on what basis
To let you access the forum and show your discussions. The processing is based on your consent, given when you sign up.
Where the data is
We use Google Firebase for login and for the forum database (forum data in Europe). Login data may also be processed by Google outside the European Union, with the standard safeguards required by law. The site is reached through Cloudflare. Fonts are hosted on our own server: they are not loaded from external services.
Cookies and browser storage
We only use the technical browser storage needed to keep you logged in and to remember your language. We use no advertising cookies. Visits are counted anonymously on our own server, without cookies and without storing IP addresses.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data. If you are a member you can delete your account and messages yourself from the My account page. You can also contact the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
How long we keep the data
As long as you keep your account. When you delete it we erase your account, name and messages.
